"Who is" KVP Storytelling Photography?
My name is Kira Passey, and "KVP Storytelling photography" is my brand. Lovingly based in Pittsburgh PA, I have been growing my clientele and skillset for 5+ years. When I was younger, my biggest creative influence was my own mother. She herself had a successful business, specializing in studio photography. Seeing her connect deeply with her clients, and work behind the scenes was always so special to me as a child.
"What is" KVP Storytelling Photography?
Photography, for me, is not just taking a pretty clean picture. Photography can be poetic, emotional, captivating, and thought-provoking. When capturing a client's gallery, the end result from KVP Storytelling Photography, feels cinematic, romantic, and edgy. I want you to look back on your curated set of thoughtful imagery and be brought back to the moment to smile and savor for years to come!
Most clients use my services for Engagements, Elopements, and Weddings. However, I provide a large array of service types.
What can I expect at my photoshoot?
If you're not use to being in front of the camera (and even sometimes when you are), it may take a few minutes to get warmed up. Clients will usually be directed with a few casual action prompts to help them feel more natural. These prompts can sometimes be silly and may include things such as telling you to "give your partner a twirl", "to lock arms and walk towards me like you are dizzy", "lay on the ground and talk to each other about what you want for dinner tonight", etc.
I provide galleries that tell each individual client's story and/or personality. This being said, you are a part of the creative process as well. Props, outfit, theme, and location consultation available free of charge.
